Jack N' Jill Kids

JACK N' JILL TOOTHPASTE DIRECTIONS
Children 6 months and older: Apply toothpaste gel to Jack N’ Jill Bio Toothbrush. Brush thoroughly with adult supervision, at least twice a day, or as directed by your dentist.
WHAT IS IN JACK N' JILL TOOTHPASTE?
We have our own kids and we care about everything that goes into their mouths - we are pretty sure that lots of other parents do too!
We have formulated our toothpaste to work well on young teeth and to be full of only natural ingredients. Good toothpaste is hard to make, so we set out to make toothpaste without noxious chemicals.
We know how hard it is to get young ones to brush – or allow parents to brush – which is why we want it to be a yummy and fun experience for them, as well as safe.
TOOTHPASTE INGREDIENTS
Jack N' Jill is absolutely free of anything GMO and free of Palm Oil derivatives.
Xylitol, Purified Water, Vegetable Glycerin (from coconut), Silica, Certified Organic Natural Flavor*, Xanthan Gum, Certified Organic Calendula Officinalis Extract**, Potassium Sorbate (Naturally derived), Citric Acid.
* USDA Certified Organic Ingredient
** NASAA Certified Organic & Biodynamic Ingredient
TOOTHPASTE CARE
Your toothpaste tube is sealed under the cap for hygiene. Remove the safety seal and then replace the flip-top cap. During normal use, small amounts of crystallized toothpaste will build up on the mouth of the cap.
  • Using a clean damp cloth or wipe, remove all toothpaste residue from around the cap opening.
  • Dry the cap with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Close flip-top lid and store tube upright (cap facing up)in the Biodegradable Jack N' Jill Bathroom Cup.
  • Always store oral care products as far away from the toilet area as possible.
It's important to always keep your toothbrush clean, and sterilize the head regularly. When the toothbrush comes into contact with the opening of the toothpaste cap, bacteria etc. can be transferred to the tube.
Please don't allow children to suck on the toothpaste tube. We know it tastes yummy, but it's unhygienic (can spoil the toothpaste) and not the intended use for Jack N' Jill. If this does occur then immediately clean the tube as above.
TOOTHBRUSH CARE
  • Rinse off bristles under water before and after brushing. Run your thumb backwards and forwards across the bristles to clean effectively.
  • Shake off excess water.
  • Store upright in Jack N' Jill Biodegradable Bathroom cup to allow bristles to air-dry.
  • For general hygiene, store toothbrush as far away from toilet area as possible.
STERILIZING YOUR TOOTHBRUSH
Plaque, as well as the interior of the mouth, contains many micro-organisms. Inevitably, these micro-organisms become trapped between the bristles of your toothbrush. Because your toothbrush is often in a moist environment, bacterial growth can flourish. That's why it's imperative to keep your toothbrush clean and to sterilize it regularly.
We recommend replacing toothbrushes every 8 weeks and after illness.
  • Rinse bristles as above.
  • Shake off excess water.
  • Place toothbrush in bathroom cup, head down.
  • Pour in enough hydrogen peroxide 3%** to cover head & bristles.
  • Leave for 10 minutes.
  • Rinse bristles under tap.
  • Shake off excess water and store in wash cup as above.
  • Sterilize once weekly.
Please note: The Jack N' Jill Bio Brush cannot be sterilised in boiling water or microwave. **Hydrogen Peroxide 3% is widely available from pharmacies.About Hydrogen Peroxide:Hydrogen Peroxide 3% has mild and safe antimicrobial properties. It quickly breaks down to water & oxygen. It can also work as a bleach, so care must be taken when handling. As with any product of this nature, open with care and make sure cap is pointing away from body. Hydrogen Peroxide is not to be ingested.

WHAT IS A NON-NANO SUNSCREEN?
At Jack N’ Jill we only produce products to the highest standards of safety for babies and kids. In a Natural Sunscreen there are only two possible ‘active’ ingredients to block the sun - Zinc Oxide or Titanium Oxide, both physical blockers of the light.
Nano particles: If a Natural Sunscreen has a clear finish, it means the Zinc Oxide particles are so small they are absorbed into the skin.
Non-Nano particles: If there is a white film left on the skin, this is the Zinc forming a natural barrier on top of the skin and not being absorbed into the skin, as the particles are too large. Research is currently underway to find out if absorbing Nano Zinc Oxide through the skin and into the body is safe for humans. The results are currently inconclusive, however much concern centers around Nano particles being absorbed into the body, especially in children.
As much as we personally like sunscreens that disappear, as our Natural Sunscreen is designed primarily for babies and kids and until we can be completely sure that sunscreens that are absorbed into the skin leaving a clear finish are not harmful to humans - we cannot risk using them in our products! In addition, the people who sampled our sunscreen on their babies during development said that the slight white film was helpful as they can clearly see the coverage on their baby. Also, as it is washed off in pool/ocean or wiped off with a towel - this is also more obvious.

NFco

NFco TOOTHPASTE DIRECTIONS
Adults & Children 2 years and older: Apply toothpaste gel to NFco Bio Toothbrush. Brush thoroughly after meals, at least twice a day, or as directed by your dentist.
WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE IN NFco TOOTHPASTE?
Each NFco Toothpaste contains 70% Organic ingredients and is designed for the whole family. The Australian Made gel formula with Native Australian Rivermint is rich in Xylitol and free from fluoride, SLS parabens & harsh chemicals. Australian River Mint (Mentha Australis) is native to the wild, pristine rain forests and waterways of eastern Australia. It is known for its fresh aromatic flavour and is used by indigenous Australians for medicinal purposes. Vegan – Non GMO – Fluoride Free – Paraben Free – Gluten Free – Soy Free – Sugar Free – No Artificial Flavours or Colours – Cruelty Free – SLS Free Contains 25% Xylitol – Amongst the highest available.
WHAT IS THE FLUORIDE CONTENT OF NFco TOOTHPASTE?
NFco Toothpaste is 100% Fluoride Free. Fluoride only has its effect when applied to the teeth (i.e. when it's in the mouth). If fluoride is ingested, it doesn’t provide any protection against cavities. It does, however, accumulate in the teeth and bones. Too much ingested fluoride is called ‘fluorosis’. It can permanently stain teeth and worse, it’s a poison. We believe that if the teeth are effectively cleaned and diet is good there is little need for fluoride. The choice to use a fluoride toothpaste or not is entirely personal and should be done with as much information as possible.
WHAT MAKES NFco TOOTHPASTE UNIQUE?
Unlike many other toothpastes on the market, NFco Toothpaste is free from fluoride and other harsh chemicals. Australian made and containing 70% organic ingredients, the gel formula is designed for the whole family and contains 25% Xylitol – amongst the highest available. Vegan, gluten free and cruelty free, the NFco Toothpaste tube and box are also 100% recyclable.
WHAT SIZE TUBES ARE AVAILABLE?
All NFco Toothpaste tubes are a generous 100g / 3.52oz.
HOW CAN I TAKE CARE OF MY NFco TOOTHPASTE?

WHAT IS 1% FOR THE PLANET?
1% for the Planet connects businesses, consumers, and non-profits, empowering all of us to drive big, positive change.
In the early 2000s a mountain climber and a fisherman realised they had a lot more in common than a disdain for wearing a suit to work. Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, owner of Blue Ribbon Flies, were also passionate environmentalists who happened to be running successful businesses. More important, they understood it was good business to protect the natural resources that kept them in business.
Since 2002 1% for the Planet has grown into a global movement of more than 1200 member companies, in 48 countries, all donating at least 1% of annual sales to sustainability initiatives. 1% for the Planet companies have given more than $100 million back to protect the environment. www.onepercentfortheplanet.org
ARE PLANET LUXE PRODUCTS SEPTIC SAFE?
Yes they certainly are. They are fully biodegradable and safe for septic.
HOW SHOULD I STORE MY PLANET LUXE PRODUCTS?
We recommend you keep your products in a cool place away from direct sunlight. All products have a 24-month shelf life if stored correctly.
HOW DO I UNLOCK THE PUMP ON DISH WASH, HAND WASH AND HAND BALM?
Make sure the pump is screwed on firmly, with the spout facing you. Rotate the pump head to the right to unlock and back to left to lock.
WHY IS THIS PLANET LUXE PRODUCT SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT TO ONE I PURCHASED PREVIOUSLY?
Due to the natural raw ingredients used to manufacture our products slight variations in aroma, colour, texture and viscosity might occur from batch to batch. Liquids may also settle if left sitting for periods of time. This is completely normal and does not alter the efficacy of the product. Give the bottle a gentle shake and proceed with use as usual.
WHO BENEFITS FROM PLANET LUXE’S 1% FOR THE PLANET DONATION?
Planet Luxe donates to Rainforest Rescue. The Daintree Rainforest is of international conservation importance as one of the most significant regional ecosystems in the world. Many people assumed that the creation of the Daintree National Park and subsequent World Heritage Listing in 1988 would secure the unique environment of the Daintree Rainforest. However, in the early 1980s, the Queensland state government had approved a large rural residential subdivision in the heart of the Daintree lowland rainforest. The developer divided the larger properties into smaller lots and sold them as freehold properties. These actions seriously undermined the integrity of the lowland rainforest, and created the greatest threat to it and its biodiversity.
While all of these properties border or are included in the World Heritage listed area and contain many of the same high biodiversity and conservation value forests, not all are protected.
Rainforest Rescue's Daintree Buy Back and Protect Forever Project purchases and protects high conservation value rainforest at risk of development. Nature Refuge status is then created which protects the properties forever under covenants ratified by the Queensland Parliament in Australia.
Planet Luxe was the first business to donate funding towards saving Lot 38, Cape Tribulation Rd – Rainforest Rescue needs to urgently purchase and protect this property as it is of immense value in connecting to other already protected Rainforest Rescue lands and to the Swamp Forest Nature Reserve which backs onto Daintree National Park. If Rainforest Rescue can protect Lot 38, Daintree animals will have extended safe tracks to travel, breed, feed and raise their young. Many endangered animals and plants with limited distribution are found on Lot 38. www.rainforestrescue.org.au
